What is Scouting?
Scouting is a value-based informal educational programme for young people, helping them in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, to become responsible, self-reliant citizens who play a constructive role in their communities.
The Scout Movement is an international youth movement based on the core values "Duty to God, Duty to Others, and Duty to Self."
Young people do this in partnership with adults by
participating in varied and progressive activities
working in groups
learning by doing
taking responsibility for their own actions
making choices for themselves
enjoying what they are doing—"Scouting is Fun"
taking part in outdoor activities
The Scouting Movement has four branches: Meerkats, Cubs, Scouts, and Rovers, ranging from 5 to 26 years old. Each branch is serving a different age group with its own programme based on these core values. Each branch has a unique programme, motto, law, and promise.
Membership is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, nationality, or gender.

Food for Life
The Food for Life (FFL) project is a game-changer in the fight against hunger. Born out of the urgent need to address food shortages, FFL empowers communities to grow their own food and become self-reliant. By teaching sustainable farming techniques, even in the face of limited resources like land and water, this initiative helps families cultivate enough to feed themselves and thrive. Food for Life is more than just a solution to a crisis—it's about giving people the tools to transform their lives, ensuring food security, and building a brighter, healthier future for all.
